I’ve been using Chartbeat for over a month now to track performance of my blog and I find myself looking at Google Analytics much less these days. The next users after that is reading a blog post that I wrote nearly 9 months ago. It’s now 20 minutes later and there are still 64 people active on my blog.

Many people who want to get to know me send me a LinkedIn invite, connect on Facebook or more recently follow me on Twitter. Facebook has much more value to me as a networking tool. The power to me was that I had already been blogging about my personal life and my children as well as separately about my startup. Powerful stuff.
