You obviously have to do this work to support your team, but you shouldnt be counting this in your proof that youre able to generate your own deal flow. There are places that founders frequenteverything from demo days to meetups to sponsored dinners to coffee gatherings. They know five minutes in when its not going anywhere.

If you demo your product (which is always great) then tell us part of the story while you’re demo’ing. You then need sub-themes or “supporting evidence&# to reinforce your key theme. Also, asking is not appropriate at a marquee conferences like TechCrunch50, DEMO, Twiistup and the like.
