I saw this in 2001-2003 and in 2008-2010. She said that Korea really wants to build a “creative economy” and that understanding why the US is so innovative was important to her. Most Koreans I know have the pressure to succeed and not let down their families and perhaps that makes it harder to take risks.

My view – power users always look at all of the menu options to figure out how to juice up the system. You can always hide complexity into configuration screens rather than the out-of-the-box features.
