The startup ecosystem is a terrific manufacturer of bad fundraising advice. I’m going to call this the risk/wealth effect and it definitely nudges the numbers towards the funding of wealthier white men. First is network bias. Was she just an anomaly or is there something else going on here? It needs to end.
