I had witnessed a number of early-stage tech startups in LA raise seed capital from the Bay Area and relocate. There were a lot of requests for us to turn our mentorship program into a physical accelerator with a fund, office space and full-time staff. None of us was convinced the market really needed 5 accelerators.
