I saw this in 2001-2003 and in 2008-2010. She said that Korea really wants to build a “creative economy” and that understanding why the US is so innovative was important to her. I also encourage you to pick up a copy of The Geography of Genius: A Search for the World's Most Creative Places from Ancient Athens to Silicon Valley , a book by journalist Eric Weiner that goes deep on the history of a bunch of this stuff.
