Due to competitive markets we ended up with a pretty good term sheet until we needed to raise money in April 2001 and then we got completely screwed. Investors own 25%, the founders own 75%.

In short, MegaRounds are increasingly common, while the number of VC-backed IPOs is relatively constant. Last year, there was 1 MegaRound for every 2 IPOs.
