The latest example comes from Maine where the Maine Coworking Development Fund has just kicked off. The Fund provides small grants (of up to $20,000) to help communities set up and run local coworking spaces.

There are plenty of one-off coworking spaces that people like and enjoy because of a convenient locale that people are willing to come work at. What coworking does is that it solves an interface problem. You have a day job, and you suck at blogging and Twitter and all that. It was a mess. The more the merrier.
