So to find out what the startup scene in Wroclaw looks like, we spoke with local six investors, executives and founders. In short, the city appears to be strong in areas such as B2B, SaaS, marketplace, B2C, gaming and medtech. Most of our VCs, in my opinion, are focused on B2B, SaaS or marketplace-like startups.

From an investor’s perspective, 2022 witnessed a sudden market reversal from an extreme equity seller’s market to an equity buyer’s market, causing dislocations throughout angel, VC, and startup ecosystems. In a sharp reversal of 2021 values, 2022 SaaS multiples declined by more than two-thirds, returning to their 2019 levels.
