In late 2018, the company raised $75 million Series C from Sequoia, arguably the top VC firm in the world. I’m pissed off that the startup ecosystem is supposed to be founder-friendly, supportive of trying really hard things, there for you even if they don’t work out as planned, but that this courtesy gets applied completely unevenly.
