I think the best solution for the social networking era is “in-stream&# advertising. I won’t belabor this – I have an investment in this space ( ad.ly ) so I’m biased. I think this classifies as a “crack filler&# and I’m not sure I would have done the investment for that reason.

Last year’s passé terms that even entrepreneurs cringe at (and the best are embarrassed to lead with) are social network, social media and social games. I guess “social&# is just soooo last year. And I feel the same about investing. I hope they are because badges will run their course.
