I grew up here, went to school here, and have worked hard over the last 5+ years to help build up the NYC innovation community. My company was not well executed enough to achieve venture capital financing—and that wasn’t the city’s fault, it was mine. I was there, too. Misconception #2: There’s no tech talent in NYC/Wall St.
