In 2022, we officially launched the Seed the Future capital campaign, an effort designed to support the Angel Investor Foundation, a wholly-owned subsidiary organization that focuses on advancing the art and science of angel investing. In 2022, ACA's first formal DEI Task Force worked throughout the year to build on the momentum of 2021.

Another high-growth digital platform gains a significant amount of follow-on funding with the announcement by TravelPerk that it has secured over $100 million as an extension of the Series D-1 raised in January 2022. Last year TravelPerk grew revenue by over 70% year-over-year with gross profit rising by more than 90% year-over-year.

Education: In 2022, the ACA worked to professionalize and expand our education through the addition of a Director of Education and the availability of Angel University online. Launched the new Boards in Action course, available in March as part of the AU winter term. 40+ individuals earned the Advanced Angel Investing certificate.
