Silje had a vision for a space that would invite interactions between unlikely allies in the name of creativity and innovation. The coworkingspace opened its doors in September 2011, as the first of its kind in Norway. It was founded by Silje Grastveit, an alumni of the renowned Kaospilot programme in Denmark.
I consider it part of my job at GCUC to identify and highlight up-and-coming coworking brands and leaders. In 2011, I called Adam Neumann of WeWork and invited him to come to Austin for the very first GCUC conference. He agreed and came to Link Coworking (my brand, which I have since sold) in Austin. Coworking will thrive.
