As we come up on the one year mark of the pandemic shut down, it is clear now more than ever that working from home is not actually working.

People are tired.

The glamor of the hustle and grind has worn off.

We are not doing anyone any favors by expecting them to ditch their boundaries for the sake of the “home office”.

Where is the work life balance now?

The zoom fatigue has set in. There is less and less meaningful communication.

We are all constantly connected but alas, it has left us with nothing to say.

Conversations are dull. Creativity is stipend. Mental health is becoming a larger issue than ever before.

People are worn out.

It’s not just you. It’s everyone.

Working from home was manageable for a little while. Now, like a treat, it’s great in moderation but makes you sick in excess.

The loneliness & isolation.

The working conditions that were designed for leisure not productivity and efficiently.

The lack of outside perspective. The lack of human interaction.

Working from home is not working and we acknowledge that.

Coworking and flexspaces are built to combat the situations we are in now.

They are built to foster human connection and protect your work life boundary.

They are built to allow corporations to reduce their spend on real estate while also providing their teams value and support through community.

We know they are going to have their “big moment” once this is all said and done with because working from home is simply not working.
