Ben Franklin Technology Partners Welcomes New Board Member

Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania is excited to welcome Lisa Riggs to the board of directors. Bringing diverse and extensive experience in community and organizational development, Lisa shares Ben Franklin’s core values of addressing the needs of our local communities and fostering innovation and economic growth.

Lisa Riggs serves as the President of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County and EDC Finance, having joined the organizations in 2014. She has led the organization’s increased focus on supporting existing businesses to stay and grow in Lancaster while adding data analytics to underpin EDC’s economic strategies.

“I’m excited to serve on the Board as I’ve worked with Ben Franklin for nearly twenty years,” said Lisa Riggs. “Ben Franklin offers critical and much-needed resources to entrepreneurs and innovators across the Commonwealth. I’m looking forward to learning from the talented staff and Board of Directors and am hoping also to be a strong ambassador of the program in Lancaster County.”

Riggs is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and currently serves on the Boards of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association, Discover Lancaster, and the Lancaster STEM Alliance, along with serving on the Steering Committee of the Lancaster Clean Water Partners, the Lancaster County Agricultural Council, and the Lancaster Cunty Transportation Technical Advisory Committee.
