Xsolla, a global player in video game commerce, has partnered with Curine Ventures to establish the Xsolla Curine Academy (XCA) in Kuala Lumpur. The academy, facilitated by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), aims to foster local talent within the gaming industry. Scheduled to open on April 18 at KL Eco City, this collaboration will support game developers and empower them with essential skills for career growth.
The Xsolla Curine Academy, a joint initiative by Xsolla and Curine Ventures, offers industry-aligned programs and endeavors to equip game developers with the competencies necessary for success in their careers.
The XCA provides a variety of courses, ranging from one to 12 months in duration. These courses encompass crucial topics including communication practices in the gaming industry, indie game design and development, computer graphic art, game strategy, and intellectual property incubation.
These programs are tailored to suit individuals interested in pursuing game development as a business venture. They provide practical, hands-on learning experiences to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills from conceptualization to post-launch success.
Centered around the needs of students, XCA offers three unique learning paths tailored to individuals with different levels of experience and career goals. These paths are crafted to cater to a wide range of students, ensuring they receive the necessary support and direction to excel in the highly competitive global gaming industry.
Through a combination of industry-relevant program design, access to XCA’s proprietary engine Megamod, and expert guidance, participants at XCA are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of the gaming industry and achieve their career goals.
