Last week’s Forward Cities conference in Pittsburgh highlighted the need for equity and inclusion in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. For those that need to hear the business case for racial equity, REI shared a great reality check- “by 2050, (I’ll be about 70 y.o.), racial equity gap. That’s trillion with a “T”.

I think this should be a wake-up call to all entrepreneurial support providers. Q: What advice would you give to someone who is wanting to help build greater equity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem/community here in KC? . We all play a role in these stats. The median Black family is on track to reach zero wealth by 2082.
