Europe’s Chips Act to bake in up to €2BN in funding support for startups and scale-ups

The Commission wants to more than double the bloc’s share of global chip production to 20% by 2030 — up from the 9% currently. With the EU Chips Act we will strengthen our research excellence and help it move from lab to fab — from the laboratory to manufacturing.
