With the majority of today’s headlines being negative, we are proud to showcase the very best of innovation and charity from the global community of entrepreneurs.

Check out our last “good news” article to see even more ways that our amazing members are making an #EOImpact

• Andrea Herrera is the founder and president of Amazing Edibles Catering and an EO Chicago member. When the events industry paused in her area, Andrea’s company shifted focus to provide tasty dishes for families and first responders at hospitals, police stations, and fire stations as well as meals to those who are food insecure in their community at homeless shelters. In just 10 days, they provided more than 500 meals

Andrea adds, “During this time of uncertainty EO has been incredible. From webinars with real-time information globally, to amazing educational sessions on leadership, finance, self care, and employment issues—all were at my fingertips.”

“The biggest value EO has brought me as always are the amazing members and staff that have been here for me. I sent out a note asking for help on Easter Sunday morning, and 20 members from around the world reached out with calls, texts and emails full of ideas, support and love. This has been a challenging time for my business, I have lost 100 percent of my revenue, but with EO, with #EOTogether, I know I will make it through to the other side, smarter, stronger and poised to succeed!”

• Tamara Keefe is the founder of Clemetine’s Creamery in St. Louis, Missouri. She is honored to be able to bring smiles to her community by serving ice cream every Friday afternoon to healthcare workers and local police stations. Her sweet-treat team has also visited a local children’s hospital.

• In London, England, Michael Korn is providing an innovative room divider to segregate patients to NHS Nightingale Hospital. “I saw amazing frontline staff who have been working long days, putting their lives at risk to help the public and all had smiles on their faces.”
