We’re excited to welcome Aaron Epstein to the YC Team, and welcome back Harj Taggar.
After four batches as a Visiting Partner, Aaron Epstein is joining YC as a partner. Aaron was the co-founder and CEO of Creative Market (YC W10), a marketplace for graphic design assets, which was acquired by Autodesk in 2014. He later spun the company out as an independent startup in 2017 and helped generate more than $100M in sales for independent creators around the world. He has a BS in Business from the University of Maryland.
Harj Taggar is returning to YC — joining as a partner. He was the CEO and co-founder of Triplebyte (YC S15), a technical skills assessment used by companies including Apple and American Express to hire software engineers. Triplebyte raised over $50 million across three funding rounds, and Harj moved to an advisory role at the end of 2019. Before that, he joined YC in 2010 as the first non-founding partner to work on scaling YC beyond 25 companies a batch. During college he founded Auctomatic (YC W07), building auction management software for small businesses, which was later acquired by Live Current Media.
