Funding Friday: Break Kickstarter

Last month our portfolio company Kickstarter invited project creators to “break conventions, but not our rules” and create campaigns that were different from the traditional Kickstarter campaign.

There are 99 “break Kickstarter” campaigns live on the platform now and I featured one of them last week. But there are many more super interesting and creative campaigns.

I backed a bunch of them this week and thought I’d showcase them to all of you today. You can find them and back them here.

(apologize for being somewhat off topic but loving Kickstarter this week.)Lets people like my good friend Wink Lorch publish detailed, wonderful, meticulous, super niche books on the wine and food first of my special spot–the Jura–and now just published wines of Savoie and the French Alps. These projects make the world a richer place and would never be able to be done in any other way.I thank them. This was the last campaign. Book arrived yesterday and it is a wonder of focus and attention and love of place.https://www.kickstarter.com
