Good morning, Paul.

As the world begins to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, some changes instituted to protect citizens from the virus may not go away. That is one of the many key findings from a new Pew Research survey of nearly a thousand industry tech and communications experts.

A new survey from Pew Research asked the tech experts what they believe life will be like in 2025, and many of those surveys believe that life will even be more tech-connected and dependent.

Interestingly, many of the experts believe that a meaningful percentage of the work population will still be working remotely and an increasing reliance on tele everything from medical appointments to school to shopping will be in play.

Some high-level expectations for our tech centric lives in 2025, well, information speeds are going to accelerate. Tracking, search and recognition technologies will also accelerate. Other expectations? Get ready for a skyrocketing adoption of new education and learning platforms, new work platforms, and continued working from home tools and resources, as well as changes to living situations with perhaps more people living communally.

That’s interesting, and this is only three and a half years away. Now, of course, generally speaking, none of us are likely to be surprised by the prognostications for a more tech-centric lifestyle. Human beings and technology are now on a path to merge in almost every way you can imagine. And the pandemic has accelerated that merger greatly.

So, if you’re an entrepreneur looking for opportunity, set your sights on ways to help people access and adopt the best technology solutions. Really ambitious? Knowing where we’re headed, create a technology tool or platform of your own. A tech hungry market awaits you.
